We are also lens nerds, offering high def premium lenses & treatments. We have an award winning lab & consider ourselves especially good at fitting people properly. In the land of optics, frame selection actually affects an rx. At Rockit you will be styled really carefully w/frames that compliment individual facial structure-coupled w/precision optics. Each affects the other. This is why you don't see all our frames for sale online. I know too much to do that to you. Come into the shop and get it done right. If you are not physically able to get to us, we will turn the business mobile & bring a frame selection/and take careful measurements offsite for you at no additional travel charge.

We are out of network but conveniently accept FSA,HSA & offer itemized receipts for those of you who submit itemized receipts to your insurance network. Many people have additional out of network discount benefits attached to their primary plan. Check yours-because plenty of people have benefited from getting some reimbursement after purchasing from Rockit. If you are retired or do not have vision insurance, we exist for you primarily!!!! We are affordable in all the ways possible, allowing for the most bang for your buck.

We have multiple pair discounts available for an extended period of time....we also build custom packages so that you don't pay extra for things you don't find useful, while maximizing features that are worth your dollars. We aren't super cheap but we aren't take out a second mortgage expensive either.

For you progressives wearers, you are in luck, because I take special care of you. In my opinion you guys always struggle the most... but w/a few fine tuning details & TLC up front you won't fall into the cracks with us & struggle for years with your progressive lenses. We offer top of the line modern lens technology, implement current fresh ideas, and stay on top of optical knowledge. Our warranties are amazing AND hassle free.

Before you really invest let me tell you this: I get it, I was once just an employee at any number of big name places watching customers drift in and out of a coma at the frame boards. Forking over cash for whatever was sold to them. At the time, the only thing that stood out to me was that everyone would repeatedly say they had so much fun doing their orders w/me... I was bewildered with what could I possibly do with that. At the time I was using the optical stuff as a day job & pursuing comedy & cartoonist work in a parallel universe. I had no idea I was gaining the skills to later merge all three. Observations made over ten years of working everywhere else helped birth Rockit. Where I once cringed at watching businesses fail to really help customers, get greedy or create toxic work environments was retrospectively valuable time spent. Years later I took it all into consideration when I began creating a new more joyous creature---Rockit Optical Eyewear.

There was also plenty of good habits by optical professionals & practical business structures that I learned from. Now it feels like a super power to form a creative optical business based on all the collective lessons. Merging my long standing professional caricature background, & being a face specialist gives me an edge that other places and opticians just can't have. We are flattered that some places have tried to copy us, but you know the saying: Often imitated never duplicated? Not to mention that we already offer some custom in house art frames. Next up; original designs, & eventually a fully bespoke section.

Rockit has specialty categories that other places just don't have. We have petite & big and tall frame selections. We custom order when something in shop isn't hitting the spot. Our relationship w/customers at the local Kenosha Public Market directly helped us develop an extensive subcategory of affordable attractive OTC readers created by popular demand. How about Sunglasses you ask? Say no more. Are you bougie? We got you covered. We have your fancy stuff hanging out right next to the " I can't trust myself with expensive sunglasses" section. At rockit they are friends. Just like in real society where we all have to get along together.

We are growing the business directly w/customers. Not insurance companies or bureaucratic giants. No frame reps wanted or needed. We don't depend on one controlling agency, or fret over one bad review. WIth Rockit- It's majority rules. We use good old fashioned elbow grease and word of mouth for growth. We are known for premium service delivered with close attention to detail & an extra level of care in a down to earth environment.

Long term Rockit is interested in building up community based businesses and the local tourism economy. Lighthearted hotspots that are fun to go to and share time with your loved ones. Currently in the same building as Rockit we opened THE DRAWING ROOM, which is an art studio caricature experience that you bring your loved ones to, get drawn and laugh till you pee your pants. Locally, we donate money to help the animals at Tiny Hooves Animal Sanctuary in Union Grove Wi. But needs exist beyond local, so we now also partner with a local church's annual mission trip to send readers, sunglasses and donated used eyeglasses to underprivileged people in Uganda, Africa.
